Still here!

It’s been a few weeks since I posted.  Over a month??  Really??

Here’s why:

In late March, Ray launched his campaign for school committee.  As his campaign manager, director of public relations, web master, policy advisor, speech writer, and one-who-takes-care-of-anything-else, I was pretty busy.  The good news?  He won!

Mitzi celebrated her first communion.

Two days later, Ellie & Joanna celebrated their birthdays.

So don’t feel badly.  This blog was not the only thing neglected.  The house looks like a bomb exploded, we seem to be surviving on PB&J’s/pasta/frozen vegetables, and the lawn is suddenly looking more like a jungle and a New England landscape.

I did manage to write and submit something new (still waiting to hear).  Submitted something that’s making the rounds (alas, a rejection).  Submitted something to the Herald, and am hopeful Shelley finds use for it some time.

Yes.

I’m back!  Exhausted, unkempt, out-of-shape, but I’m back.

Well, metaphorically.  Now I have to do errands.

  1. ’bout time! but you know how it is, mom’s always put themselves at the bottom of the list…. time to move yourself up! xo

  2. I missed your posts. Glad your back writing. All the things you have done this past month were for others. Don’t forget to do Jen Things. You need “space” and time for yourself.

Don’t wait for it to happen . It never will. Just put your self on the schedule every day. Even if it’s only for 15 minutes.

    Keeping writing.

  3. HURRAH! I was beginning to think i was blocked from looking at your blog…..HWH is right, take time each day for YOU. All those things that you see needing to be done will need to be done again the second after you do them. and a clean house, gourmet meals, etc. won’t be what you want to be remembered for! xo

  4. Early March really and late January if you count the nomination process. A long haul to be sure and tiring for all of us, particularly you. I couldn’t have done it without you. Looking forward to more writing and publishing success for you!!
    xoxo
